Star Wars Episode VII finally has a release date! (via StarWars.com) It’ll be released on December 18th, 2015, just in time for the Holidays!
What with Summer 2015′s already packed schedule, and potential production delays with Episode VII, rumors have been swirling with news of the next Star Wars installment being in the final quarter of 2015. This marks the first time a Star Wars film has not been released in May. However, this also distances Episode VII from other big blockbusters of the year, like Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Jurassic World.
Episode VII will be directed by JJ Abrams and written by Abrams and Lawrence Kasden, with original screenwriter Michael Ardnt recently exiting the project. What do you think about the official release date for Star Wars Episode VII? Sound off in the comments!
